Dr. Manoj Chandra Mathur, Glaucoma Consultant at Medivision Eye Centre, brings over 40 years of experience in pediatric ophthalmology. He also serves as a reviewer for the Indian Journal of Ophthalmology.

Specializations and Expertise

Extensive experience in the workup and management of Glaucoma. Proficient in anterior segment surgery, modern cataract microsurgery, IOL implantation, and contact lenses. Skilled in microsurgery, ophthalmic lasers, and maintenance of ophthalmic equipment. Special interest in phacoemulsification. Active involvement in community ophthalmology, having conducted and organized over 250 eye and cataract surgery camps, and delivered talks on eye care and common eye disorders.

  • Served as Editor of the Newsletter/Yearbook for the AP State Ophthalmological Society for two terms from 2000 to 2006.
  • Honorary General Secretary of the Andhra Pradesh Ophthalmological Society for two terms from 2006 to 2012.
  • Conducted Hands-on workshops for P.G. Students in Glaucoma, organized by the AP State Ophthalmological Society, covering all medical colleges in the state.
  • Facilitated Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions in Glaucoma organized by the Glaucoma Society of India.
  • Received the Best Scientific Exhibit Award at AIOS Conferences in Chandigarh (1996) and Chennai (2000).
  • Honored with the E.T. Selvam Award by the All India Ophthalmological Society in Kolkata (2001).
  • Recognized with the Achievement Award by the AP State Ophthalmological Society at the Silver Jubilee Conference in Hyderabad (2001).
  • Received the V. Raghavachar Award for Best Scientific Paper Presentation at APSOS Conference, Eluru (2003).
